Zeeshan founded PropertyLegal.ca* in July 2020 after working at busy Toronto boutique and mid-sized law firms. He has acted for small businesses, real estate investors and developers, private lenders, condominium corporations, individuals, and families.
Zeeshan’s practice focuses on the following areas:
Real Estate Matters: advising clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing across several sectors including cottage properties, commercial properties, single family residential properties, and multi-residential properties.
Wills and Estates Matters: advising clients on the preparation of last wills and testaments, corporate wills, powers of attorney, obtaining probate, and administering estates.
Corporate Matters: advising clients on corporate formation and key corporate governance matters, corporate acquisitions and dispositions, negotiation of commercial agreements and providing general support in respect of day to day matters.
Family Law Matters: advising clients on non-contentious separation agreements, applications for divorce, and opinions on foreign divorces.
Zeeshan has a keen interest in the business of law and is committed to keeping his clients up to date with the evolving state of the practice of law during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since he began practicing in 2015, Zeeshan has been a firm believer that the practice of law must adapt alongside tried and tested technological advances to make sure that his clients always receive the best and most efficient service. As such, Zeeshan follows the innovations of the legal tech community very closely, and you will often find him excitedly talking the ears off his supportive colleagues about the newest tools disrupting the legal market.
When not at the office, Zeeshan spends his time caring for his sphynx cats and enjoying time with his wife and their families when the cats allow for it.
